Thermosil / SIAF Single Core Cable is designed for demanding high-temperature applications where conventional PVC-insulated cables become brittle and fail. Manufactured with a flexible tinned copper conductor and premium silicone rubber insulation, it delivers outstanding performance in steel works, metallurgical plants, hot-rolling mills, coking plants and foundries. The silicone insulation offers excellent resistance to oils, fats, diluted acids, ozone and oxidation. In the event of fire, the insulation forms a protective silicon dioxide layer around the conductor, helping maintain circuit integrity and improve short-circuit resistance.
