⚠️ Installation Notes
The torque arm must not be rigidly attached to a steel framework.
The torque arm bracket or stirrup must provide sufficient clearance to allow the Anti Runback Backstop to self-centre in both axial and angular positions.
This prevents bearing pinching, premature wear and component failure.
The preferred mounting position is horizontal to minimise bearing loads and maximise service life.
Always refer to the certified drawings and installation instructions supplied with each unit.
⚠️ Important Information
Ensure the backstop is installed for the correct direction of rotation.
The arrow on the inner race indicates the direction of free shaft rotation.
Always verify the direction of free rotation before installation.
Grease seals are factory-packed. Before commissioning, fill the backstop internally with the recommended oil.
